Sales Training
The sales training is comprised of:

  • Five (5) Residential Sales Consultant classes yearly.
    • Two week program focused on technical and sales to better equip the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) Commercial Account Manager classes yearly.
    • Two week class focused on technical and sales to better position the RSC for success in their region.
  • Two (2) different sales classes put on for General Managers twice a year, totaling four-and-a-half training days, focusing on sales culture and everyday sales operation.

Technical Training
The technical training for technicians includes:

  • HVAC tune-up procedural training in spring and fall
  • Carbon monoxide and heat exchanger inspection yearly
  • Technical communication and ‘build-a-tech’ semiannually
  • Continuous NATE certification and specialty programs as required

Service Experts Heating and Air Conditioning is investing in additional training through the roll out of a Learning Management System, to drive assigned and ad hoc curriculum to better offer a complete education to our technical personnel.

Miscellaneous Training

  • Twice annually, conduct Operational Excellence for General Managers, to offer support, resources, and structure for managing a business from the P&L standpoint.

Customer Service Specialist

  • Three (3) times a year, conduct outbound calling over a one (1) day program. In this class we cover heating and cooling industry basics, why people buy, calling techniques, scripts, customer buying signs, and overcoming customer grievances.

Dispatcher

  • No formal training offered. On the job training given by the General Manager and appropriate staff at center level.
